Sen. Alex Padilla, born and raised in Los Angeles, was placed facedown on the floor in a hallway after he was removed from a news conference about ICE operations in LA that have lead to days of protests.
"We're not going away," Noem said just before the disruption. "We are going to liberate the city from the burdensome leadership, mayor and governor."
The 'Socialist" reference didn't help any.
