Is it that the Market Square garage now charges for parking at times when it used to be free?

A bit or sarcasm. I had been told about a restaurant in Old City with a phone app for their parking lot charging $12. We went there today and it apparently charges you $12 but if you patronize their restaurant you get that $12 back. I am ok with that.
I do find having to load different parking apps to park different places kind of a nuisance. Plus sometimes I cannot see the screen well in sunlight during daytime parking to fill in the fields. Finding
enough shade to see the screen is tough sometimes. Maybe I am just resistant to change.
