I have not heard of most of these candidates. What are available information sources?

Seems like a good project for Political Science students at UT/Pellissippi/etc.

Web production of objective presentations of the candidates and their views. In person events. Etc.

Candidate field appears set for 2022 Knox County elections

My name...

My name is Bob Fischer and I am a candidate for Mayor. I'm not aware of anyone that thinks I'm the frontrunner.

Read the on line papers like this one as most candidates will be covered. DTV which streams live on ctvknox.org every Fri night is also a source of candidate info or you can listen to a podcast on Spotify entitled "Almost in Agreement" with Seth Barber is another source of candidate info...

Appreciate those efforts, but

Appreciate those efforts, but to the majority of folks that seems like an Easter egg hunt.

Trying to help

There are a lot of candidates for a lot of offices but this is the Primary which means you can only vote for the party you declare. You can declare EITHER Republican or Democratic party. For the D's, here are the choices:

County Mayor
Board of Education District 1 (if you live in that district)

That's it. If there is only one Democrat in the Primary, they will automatically move on to the General Election. And Independents ONLY show up in the General.

If you choose to vote in the Republican Primary, there are many more choices. Look at the category first (i.e., County Trustee) and then see if there are two or more Republicans running.
