These kids deserve a lot of credit for daring to present their views about torture to the President. The article says he wasn't expecting their letter. Somehow I instinctively felt their message would have an impact because of that. I'm sure most White House guests, even the ones that hate Bush's policies, play nice while they are there. The fact that these bright young people wanted to speak out against something that was once considered unthinkable gives me hope.
