the most anti-abortion candidate is entitled to the seat, isn't he?  Based on the ads, that must be the most important qualification.

Absolutely. But you also have to factor in who's the most anti-gay, who's the most anti-tax, who's the most anti-Mexican, and who's the most conservative. It's a complex formula, but it will be solved on Thursday. Heh.

Based on these criteria (and the one's R. Neal listed) you need to put Ford in the poll too. He's as anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-illegal, anti-mexican as the rest.

At least he's campaigning that way.

But in much of Tennessee they are not really concerned with Ford getting elected, as in the Blount County mayor's race, it is just which Repub will land the job.
