First snow of the season. It didn't seem like there was much warning. I saw predictions of light snow up to half inch. Later the NWS changed their prediction to one to one and a half inches. Someone I know had to drive from Turkey Creek to Maryville around 7:30 pm last night to get home from work. They had to drive about 30 miles an hour or less the entire way. Doesn't seem like there were many traffic incidents.

In Blount County they put down the snow deterrent for roads last Thursday or Friday. Apparently it doesn't last as long as needed this time. The neighborhood roads that got treated are covered with snow.
