What a wonderful treat to wake up to a bit of snow in the valley of Knoxville. After a great downtown jaunt for a Pete’s breakfast and checking out the snowy scene on Gay Street, we headed north. The snow seems particularly fitting since the 21st Annual Historic Old North Knoxville Victorian Holiday Home Tour is today and tomorrow. With 12 homes on the tour this year, there is something unique for all to see.

Here are some winter wonderland shots from this morning.

The twilight tour runs today from 4-9 p.m. and the daytime tour is Sunday from 12:30 – 5 p.m. More details at (link...).

Historic North Hills Holiday Tour of Homes

Not to steal the thread, but...

The North Hills Garden Club is hosting their biannual Holiday Tour of Homes, Sunday only, December 6th from 4 to 8 pm. There are 10 of our wonderful historic homes on the tour this year from some grand ones on the northern end of North Hills Blvd to some of the charming bungalos and two stories, on Fountain Park, North Park and 3 more on North Hills Blvd. (While our house is not on the tour, the one next door and across the street are on the tour.) Come see the great rennovations done to these spectacular homes.

Tickets are $10, children under 12 free admission. There are light refreshments at every house.
