We saw this announcement going southbound on Alcoa Hwy.
Residents won't be able to exit to the west side of Topside Road for two weeks. The detour is to exit on John Sevier, go south on Maryville Pike, then right on Topside to go over the new bridge to the west side of Topside.
They are building a"pedestrian tunnel beneath West Topside Road." Maybe thar will be part of the extended greenway trails.
