The Tennessee Legislature has approved school vouchers. I suppose it will go to the governor for his signature.

In preparation, "According to the bill’s fiscal note, Student First Technologies has been awarded a contract worth more than $16 million over the next five years to develop an online platform and oversee the distribution of taxpayer dollars to private schools. The company currently administers Tennessee’s existing Education Savings Account (ESA) program, but its track record in other states is raising red flags.

Student First Technologies was previously contracted by the state of Arkansas to manage a similar school voucher program. However, Arkansas terminated the contract in October, citing repeated missed deadlines and issues with the company’s online platform.

Despite these failures, Tennessee has still included Student First Technologies in its budget, raising concerns from education advocates."

Tennessee is failing and the citizenry have no clue.
