This is pretty outrageous.
Whether or not Mark Goins had anything to do with this, it is clearly way past time for him to go.
We don't need partisan political hacks running elections in Tennessee at the state or the local level. Especially when they are spreading lies.

Further update: Nashville Scene reporter Jeff Woods busts Hargett's office in a lie regarding an ongoing investigation that wasn't; Hargett now maintains "an abundance of caution" prompted him to deliver a complaint to the TBI.
