Remind them

The Senate Majority Leader has teed up the first of several procedural votes needed in the Senate to ultimately pass the Health Care reform bill. This first vote will occur Saturday around 8pm. This vote is a vote to proceed to the bill and under Rule 22, it requires 60 votes. If the Leader is able to muster the needed 60 votes, he will then lay down the Senate Subst. and the Thanksgiving recess will begin for Senators. They will reconvene on Monday, Nov 30, with the bill open to further amdts.

It's time for your voice to be heard! Remember, democracy is NOT a spectator sport.

Stay tuned,

I would like to point out that the Biggest Fallers list at GradeGov contains both of Tennessee's Republican Senators. I predict marginal, insignificant wins for 2010 Republicans and there may even be hope for some re-branding of the too-often laughable mess that is Tennessee politics.
