While President Obama's approval ticked up slightly, public opinion of the Republican controlled Tennessee General Assembly declined dramatically according to a recent Tennessean/Vanderbilt poll.

The legislature's approval rating nosedived to 45.8% after most recent session, down 20 points from 65.6% in January when Republicans first took over. Tennesseans do not appear happy with The GOP-led attack on public education.

Sounds like a buyer's remorse. Too bad there isn't a "lemon law" for lawmakers.

Yeah, and I wonder how Local Pols rate??

I wonder about all those voters who poured their hard earned money into our County Mayor's pocket, County Commission members' bank accounts, our State Senators and State Reps, coffers...maybe they are just too darned ashamed to admit their gross mistakes?

Did the contributors really want the 'status quo' to keep the County in limbo..NO jobs, NO new industries, NO new Carter schools while one new one authorized for FAR WEST Knoxville, many jobs LOST...and the worst excuse..."that's the way it has always been here"...we are just sooo proud that the GOP rules East Tennessee..."just look at what we have NOT done for anybody"!
