I think DTESS is my favorite of all time too, followed by Forbidden Planet. Great effects for the day and timeless message(s). We have that in our tiny DVD collection.

Don't remember Earth vs. the Flying Saucers! Guess I need to head to Cheneworth Gap today or put it on our Netflix queue.

Earth Vs Flying Saucers is a Harryhausen classic.

Ya gotta love DC being destroyed by ray beams.

The effects are still pretty good 50 years later.

Also on my list today is the fact that my grown kids and I are going to play some board games. Today its the zombie classic "Last night on Earth"

One player is the zombies and the other are the local towns people trying to survive until sunrise.

Its a great beer and chips game, and the minis and board are very nicely done.

WOW, I was kinda surprised that so many folks are doing the 'SCI FI movie treat today

Where is this Chenoweth Gap place anyway??
