Despite assurances that he will forge ahead with his campaign, it's getting harder and harder to figure out exactly how he plans to do that without a campaign staff.
On Friday he said that only "contracting a fatal disease" will cause him to drop out. Sounds sort of like his Iraq policy. He should take some of his remaining $3 million in campaign funds and buy a clue.

What does your right-wing
What does your right-wing f-i-l think about Guiliani's positions on gays and abortion?
I don't understand why the Republican base would go for Rudy.
"If we want to revitalize our towns and protect our countryside from sprawling development, we should renovate our older schools, not throw them away."
-- Save Our Land, Save Our Towns President Thomas Hylton
That's a good point.
That's a good point. Massachusetts Romney and Pre-911 Giuliani sound more like Democrats than some of the Democrats we're running these days.
I have a lot of respect for
I have a lot of respect for McCain, but this comes as no surprise. I hear nothing about McCain locally, even before Big Fred got interested. I met McCain a few months back. Seemed like a nice man. But, he appeared old and gray (not just the hair either). My comment at the time, and even to today, if he's the nominee, it's another Bob Dole campaign. I have a lot of respect for Dole too. But, selling him to voters against the younger and more dynamic Clinton was difficult.
McCain produces little enthusiasm. That is translating into lack of funds, direction and staff jumping ship (they need a job for longer than the next month).
All the moderates left him
All the moderates left him when he hugged Bush and went chasing after the wingnuts. The wingnuts never liked him and never would- remember SC.
Hugging the man who was part of the campaign to destroy you just never works out.
Justice
McCain swallowed his pride and kissed tons of Duhbya and wingnut ass. This is the thanks he gets, the just desserts of the way he put ambition before honor. Now he gets to live with his regrets.
Rudy the authoritarian gets it next. At some point, someone is going to make a commercial using all the stills and videos of Giuliani in a dress.
After that, it's either Fred or Mitt. Either one will say anything to get elected, so they're perfect Republicans.
Liberty and justice for all.
That is translating into
Actually, Terry Nelson squandering his money is translating to a lack of funds.
I guess campaigning isn't all about writing attack ads after all.
