Stella's Florist in South Knoxville Closing

Stella's Florist has been in South Knoxville for a long time. I'm thinking they have been there over thirty years, could be fifty or more. I used them regularly when we lived in Florida. Even though I called them only twice a year, usually for the same bouquet and delivery, they knew who I was, the arrangement, the purpose, and where to deliver the bouquet.

Such wonderful people running the show. I'm sorry to see them go. Hopefully it is on their terms.

Stella's is having a liquidation sale Friday and Saturday, December 14th and 15th. They are located at 8001 Chapman Highway, at the intersection of Tipton Station Road (right hand side when going away from Knoxville).

South Knoxville is loosing a florist that has been part of the South Knoxville Community for over 30 years. My grandmother started this florist - Stella Berrier the original shop was located on central ave with signs made by her sons that hung on each side . Her displays inside we're grand. She later moved the shop to Sevier Ave where all her grand kids have fond memories of being part of the business. She later sold the business but her name went with it and remained part of South Knoxville. She countined her love and passion as a creative florist throughout the years and Christmas Trees had to be perfect . She passed away a few years ago and now I feel the loss again . She is the most inspirational person I've ever known I'm very sadden to see her name leave the community.

I'm sorry for your new loss and South Knoxville is sorry to lose such a long-time business.
