Sponsored by the University of Tennessee, Phillip Hoose will visit Ijams Nature Center as part of a three-day tour of Knoxville.

Hoose is an award-winning author of books, essays, stories and songs and is a founding member of the Children’s Music Network. He has worked for the
Nature Conservancy since 1977.

Hoose’s program will include his reflections on the ivory-billed woodpecker and his conservation efforts with The Nature Conservancy. He will also share his talents as a performing musician.

This program is FREE and geared to an audience of all ages.
