I suspect people will be trying to find a low level flunkie to throw under the bus over this. It's a function of County Government to oversee and regulate our medical infrastructure as necessary. The particular issue in question here, would be staffing, Something Dr. Shamiyeh brought before The Board of Health several times before Glenn Jacobs disbanded them. When you are understaffed, you simply don't have the time to watch over every idiot that shows up on your doorstep. I'd guess that this sort of situation is way more common that people think.

This is the sort of stuff we should expect to see more of, at least until someone steps up in a leadership role in the void that was left by the disbanding of the Board of Health. All our hospitals are managed by corporate entities now.
