Taco Bell no longer offers taco salads.
Cheddars no longer offers onion rings.
Arby's no longer offers potato cakes.

What's next, no more Big Macs?

Some stuff hurts.

Like losing potato cakes at Arby's and double decker taco supremes at Taco Bell. It just makes life less fun.

Potato Cakes

I know, I really miss the potato cakes, however, the crinkle cut fries are pretty good. Had a Cajun fresh wrap today and it was very good.

If we're lucky.

I'll tell you what's next.

My wife went with her sister to a concert this weekend. I'm bacheing it. Thought I'd go get a beer last night. Wait Covid warning. Staying home. Loss to bar and bartender, $15-25 bucks. Didn't really feel like making breakfast. Shit. Covid. Make it myself. Loss to restaurant, $30-40 bucks. High, but no telling where I would have gone. Lunch, dinner and 3 beers at a bar tonight, $75-100. Prices are outrageous, I know, but that's not the deciding factor. The deciding factor is covid. It wasn't even an issue in the mayor's race, despite a significant portion of our population still taking it seriously. Figure $100-150 dollars for everyone making decisions with this in mind per night involved and extend that percentage throughout the Knox County population, you're probably looking at 50,000 people taking covid into consideration when going out. At 100 per person, you're looking at $5,000,000 per day loss. 10,000 people, $1,000,000 loss per day.1,000 people, 100,000 a day loss. 500 people (lowball estimate) 50,000 a day loss. Times seven is $ or 350,000 a week or 18.2 million a year and all the tax revenues and benefits that come from that money being circulated. You can't keep society together without a tax base and communities need working healthcare policy to keep the economy rolling. You just keep worrying about the guys bribing you Mayor, we'll speak with our wallets.
