Certainly. He is an
Certainly. He is an admirable person and has done a lot for our country. I am proud to have him represent our party and our nation.
Hate that diagnosis
but you know as well as I that if he were to have an ailment confined to one side of his body, it would be to his left side, not his right side.
Teddy...
much hated by the right wing.I expect jokes on right wing blogs, Rush Limbaugh's show and other locations who fondly hope for his demise.
Of course, even though I am a progressive, Chappaquidick will always be something I am reminded of when I think about him.So much promise wasted in a poor decision to drive home probably inebriated with a young woman and ruined his chance at the Presidency.
I hope he survives because his politics are good although his private life decisions have been questionable at times.
If the worse happens and he has to be replaced in the Senate I expect Romney will run for the seat and we don't want that to succeed.
So get well Teddy.

Maybe Bill Hobbs can send him a "tasteful" "get-well card."

Always good for a laugh at a time like this:
My thought exactly, I too hope he repents. And such a gift for someone at his age to have a medical diagnosis that comes with at least a little bit of time. I pray he uses the time he has left to “prepare to meet his maker”.
A GIFT???
I wonder how long he will be kept on life support in order to keep his Senate seat in dem hands.
How did the doctors find the tumor? Every part of Ted Kennedy is malignant.
Oh, and those goodies are on the site AFTER the moderators pulled FOUR threads for 'being over the line' and dozens of other posts "pulled by moderator." I shudder to think what was said in those.
That being said, there are many statements of best wishes by Freepers as well. Too bad it's an insanely moderated blog, not a whiff of dissention allowed- I'd like to thank those who took the higher ground.
The Lion
Ted Kennedy is the Lion of the Senate.
He has been an advocate for the poor and the common working man for many years.
May he live his remaining days well.

A bumper sticker I saw in the late '60s.
From June of 1968 till the Democratic Convention
of 1980 I was big time behind electing Ted Kennedy
president.
Yep I was always hoping @ the '68,'72,'76 & '80
conventions some how some way ole Ted would get it.
