Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said Sunday the new Medicare prescription drug program will be "a huge plus" for Republicans, despite Democrats' hopes to benefit politically from the program's rocky start.
A) I'm not aware of anyone who thinks the new drug program is a "plus", huge or otherwise, and B) shouldn't it be more about helping seniors than about political gains? It's amazing to me how out of touch some of these guys are, yet people keep voting for them.
