The only biscuit I had at the festival was one of those tiny little pieces Mark Guenther was giving out with samples of his sorghum syrup. I've sampled and bought that stuff since I first saw him working the cane mill with his mule at the Tennessee Fall Homecoming in the late 80s. I asked him yesterday where he had parked his mule.
Here's a short clip about their sorghum works in Muddy Pond that was aired on Tennessee Crossroads a couple of years ago.
We had our breakfast (with biscuits and sausage gravy) at Shoney's on the way home.
