What an interesting man. Very

What an interesting man. Very hardy. He gave so much to so many. We can help by giving back and help keep RAM going.

I think with their move a few

I think with their move a few years ago to their current facility and a lot of other behind the scenes work, Stan Brock made sure that RAM will be able to continue carrying out its mission beyond his lifetime. It’s not uncommon for an organization to operate purely as a function of one leader’s strong personality. I think Brock was acutely aware of this and took the right steps to avoid that mistake.

All that is to say that yes, a donation to RAM to continue their mission is a good investment, and a good way to honor the incredible man who created the organization. I believe Mr. Brock turned over his own Social Security check to RAM every month, so this is one time that you can be sure the “in lieu of flowers” request is a true statement of the way he wished to be honored.

"Junk Insurance"

In the above interview ...

Brock discovered that about half of the seven hundred patients possessed medical insurance—but the co-pays were so high or coverage so inadequate that they still couldn’t afford to go to their local doctor or dentist

More on "Junk Insurance" which is what the republicans are trying to bring back. Basically, paying to not be insured.

Big money maker for insurance companies.
