Interesting. I saw about a month ago that they got a really low score from the Health Dept (it was on Don Dare's thing on WATE). Sounds like they might have been having problems for awhile.

I hadn't heard about any recent negative scores, but they scored a 99 a few months back.

I am morbidly unhappy over this closing.

My son and I went to the Chophouse last night and while driving by the Italian Market, noticed the parking lot was empty. I had a feeling they were closed down, that was a very nice place to eat with a varied menu. A couple of weeks ago, we had noticed a full parking lot and they seemed to be doing well.

I wonder what happened as well. It would be nice to see it back open as it was so different from all the other franchise restaurants.

Sigh. If only Russ's many Twitters had brought Italian Market more customers.

The last time I was in Mimi's the service was slow also but the food was excellent. I love their eggs benedict.

I'm guessing that Catinella's is closed for good. There's a "for lease" sign on the window.

We liked Cantinella's, but it's been clear in recent years that it needed some attention. Some new furniture would have been nice. Wonder if the new nearby Aubrey's sealed its future.
