No kidding. We haven't driven this one in about a week, and it's covered with pollen. And it's not sitting directly under a pine or any other kind of tree.

Conditions are perfect for a record pollen season around the U.S. and particularly the South. Knoxville has been named the "Allergy Capital" of the U.S.

The Knox County Health Department has advice for allergy sufferers. One of their suggestions is to take a vacation to the beach. Sounds good to me.

I've been wondering if one reason for record levels of pollen is connected to the massive die-off of bees which has been taking place the last few years.
