I think if we have a lot of people burning enough coal and oil, more solar heat gets trapped until we fry the planet and cause weather disasters of biblical proportions.
What are the chances that all the climate effects that are now occurring, almost exactly as climate scientists have been predicting, are due to this "science"?
If a "gentleman" was engaged
If a "gentleman" was engaged in an act of coitus with a person and were to be heard praying that he not get an STD, he might be seen as less than sincere.
Now, I am certainly not (to the best of my knowledge) Gawd and I certainly do not have any "insider" contact with such Deity (or Deities) as may (or may not) exist (again, to the best of my knowledge) but, I would put prayers pertaining to climate related issues that are offered up from one's SUV or 6k sqft fully air conditioned home with all the gadgets running, I would not be surprised to find that Gawd put those prayers in the same category as the first scenario.
But then I am a Liberal.
