My wife answered the phone just now and it was a "poll". They asked these questions before she hung up:
Do you intend to vote for Bob Corker? "No"
Do you intend to vote for Harold Ford? "Yes"
Do you want your taxes raised? "What?"
Do you think that terrorists should have the same rights as the rest of us? "That makes no sense. What are you talking about?"
Paraphrasing because I didn't answer the phone. Wish I had.

I just got that same call. It came from Herndon Va. -- 703 961 8297 and was an automated push poll. Very nasty stuff that I doubt is effective.

We got the same call from Herndon. We keep getting (3 or 4 times so far) another call that the caller ID says is from "Phila. Suburbs", I assume it is political in nature. It never seems to work though, you answer and there is no response. Maybe we haven't waited long enough.
FYI
The Nashville Post has got something on this, including an mp3 of the automated call. E Pluribus Media has done some follow up, as well.
