After counting primary delegates and caucus delegates in Texas, Obama wins Texas 99 delegates to Hillary's 94 delegates, according to CNN. (counting superdelegates, Obama wins 109-104.)
Does this mean, in Hillary's eyes, that Texas is:
1. no longer a big state;
2. a state that doesn't matter?
Headlines could also read "Hillary Loses Texas After Caucus Votes Are Counted." But I bet you won't see many like that.

Obama joke
Have you heard the joke about the political parrot?
Parrot: Barracck! Barracck! Polly want Obama! Polly want Obama!
Pet Owner: Hmmmmmm. Polly used to like crackers.
(I got thousands of 'em.)
Have you heard the joke
How persuasive.
Pet Owner: Hmmmmmm. Polly
I don't get it.

crackers
ive always heard..when you call somebody a cracker
you were saying they were
redneck dumbass racist peckerhead poor white trash.
dont want to put meaning of post where there is none but thats what i always understood a cracker be
Clarification
The Obama joke is a "double entendre". Cracker can mean anything you want it to mean. There were a old series of puns jokes with "Polly wants a cracker". It used to be a common name for a parrot who learned to say that particular phrase to get a treat. There were many takeoffs on the old parrot jokes. Hmmmmm. You all don't remember "Amos and Andy" TV and/or radio show and folkses it ain't politically correct no more.

Obama used the word "cracker" in his book
In his book "Dreams of my Father", Obama used the word "cracker" on page 229 to describe a white man.
How's that "bridging the racial divide"?
Context?
What is the context of the quote? As closely scrutinized as that book has been a racially imflamatory statement would have been all over the place by now. I think your either making s**t up or just plain ol' making s**t up.
Take Care, Be Good and don't play in the street!

Not comfy going there
Now I get it. I don't use that word in a non-standard way, unless it's one who breaks into safes.
Gee, SteveMule, why don't ya
Gee, SteveMule, why don't ya get off your butt and look for yourself instead of calling someone a liar. Oh, that's right, you're a f**king liberal who wants everything done for you. Well, Steve-o, the context is racist and bigoted in nature. They are Obama's words describing his own feelings. But since it's obvious you're one of the minions blindly following after your new messiah, you'll need to wait for the Braille edition to come out to check it out for yourself, not that it'll change your tiny little mind.
Again ...
Provide the context. Or go away troll.
Take Care, Be Good and don't play in the street!

Racist comment #1:
From "Dreams of My Father." page 229,
Obama: "THERE WERE NO CIGAR CHOMPING CRACKERS LIKE BULL CONNOR OUT THERE." The use of "cracker" was unnecessary and salacious.
Racist comment #2:
From Dreams of My Father, " I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE
SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER'S RACE". Gee, who wouldn't after sitting for 20 years listening to hate in that alleged church.
Racist comment #3:
From 'Dreams of my Father', "The emotion between the races could never
be pure..... the THE OTHER RACE (WHITE) WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT:
MENACING, ALIEN AND APART"
Racist comment #4:
From Dreams Of My Father, "never emulate white men and brown men whose
fates didn't speak to my own. IT WAS INTO MY FATHER'S IMAGE , THE BLACK
MAN, THE SON OF AFRICA, THAT I'D PACKED ALL THE ATTRIBUTES I SOUGHT IN
MYSELF.
Racist comment #5:
From Dreams Of My Father:
"THAT HATE HADN'T GONE AWAY," he wrote, BLAMING WHITE PEOPLE,- SOME
CRUEL, SOME IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless
image of a system claiming power over our lives."
Racist comment #6:
From Dreams Of My Father;
"There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it
came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying
close together, traveling in packs," he wrote. "It remained necessary to
prove which side you were on, TO SHOW YOUR LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES,
TO STRIKE OUT, and name names"
Traitorous comment#1:From 'The Audacity Of Hope,
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an
ugly direction."
Umm, Bull O'Connor was a
Umm, Bull O'Connor was a cigar-chewing cracker. And that's about the nicest thing you could say about him.
Only a tarbaby would put it
Only a tarbaby would put it that way...but please don't take my comment out of context.
Well, obviously you got your
Well, obviously you got your "Obama's a racist" talking points from some hate speech oppo research site, because I doubt seriously that you have actually read his book. (I haven't either.) But racial slurs such as the one in the previous comment, especially directed at another participant, are out of bounds.
Rachel, I have to agree that
Rachel,
I have to agree that this was a nice way to describe O'Connor.

CW: speaking of taking
CW: speaking of taking things out of context...
you know, kinda the whole point of Dreams From My Father is that ultimately Obama explicitly rejects all of the attitudes encapsulated in those quotes as wrong-headed and destructive.
Tell
You folks gave yourselves away with the cracker punch line.
Throw it out there..bait the hook
See who hits.
Myself never read a book by Obama.
But I voted for him.
And supported him for a couple of years.
