The Ford Report has the scoop.

At this point, the RNC will do whatever it has to do to win. Nothing is off limits with them. Corker has to be coming undone over this. The last few polls show Ford trending up, up and away from him. Guess, we will see an ad with Ford as the new Willie Horton soon.

Are

you really gonna believe a poll put out by the nephew of State Senator John Ford, nephew of ousted State Senator Ophelia Ford and son of Congressional bank Congressman Harold Ford?

I guess that you will not embrace our poll numbers as they are released by Senator Corker's campaign, the RNC or the TN GOP.

Well, we might not "embrace" them, but we'd sure be interested in seeing them. Last I heard, they had some, but wouldn't release them for some reason. If I'm mistaken, please post a link, because, like I said, we'd be most interested.

The GOP one-trick attack pony, ladies & gents.

When in doubt, smear.

Knox County GOPs One Trick Pony

Mr. Hornback is the Knox County GOP slime puppet. Check out his blog and you'll see. He slimes constantly and often over the silliest things. Read his latest post over a recent Schree Pettigrew function. He ignores most of Ms. Vine's column and mocks the the former governor and groundlessly insinuates that the attendees were "strong armed" into attending.

Mr. Hornback is a slimer because that's all his capable of whether he's pumping "Jimbo" Bryson or lil' Bobby Corker. It's all he can do. He also claims the name the Christ in his life.

Take Care, Be Good and don't play in the street!

Your party has made me bitter.  Any other party would lead to better lives.

How 'bout this one?:

You're either with energy independence, or you're with the terrorists!

Polling

It is reasonable to ask about a poll (methodology, sampling, margin of error) without taking gratuitous shots at people.

Bitter and broken,

Brian A.
I'd rather be cycling.

Hornback returns

Hornback returns.
He thinks we have forgotten. But we are still demanding an answer.
Hornback -did you see any of the emails Tyler Harber hacked?

Your refusal to deny this speaks volumes.

Um...

run this by me again: Benenson Strategies Group, the outfit that's got the poll showing the 6 point lead, is run by the Ford family? When its clients include MTV, Proctor and Gamble, and the Government of Thailand..? This looks like a pretty credible list to me: (link...)

I'm not surprised Corker supporters are bitter. However, maybe they should have made sure their candidate had procured green cards for his employees before they threw their lots in...

Sounds as if Ford must have learned something from the republicans. Fight fire with fire.

Eleanor A's picture

Well,

Well, my point is that I don't think that outfit has anything to do with the Ford family. Rather than face facts - Corker's behind - the Republicans would rather try to discredit the firm that did the polling.

Fine. Let 'em keep the same hubris that made them think they'd win this race in a walk. I'd rather they focus on the polling firm than on the hard work they'd have to do to pull this out...although the likelihood of that is looking a bit more dodgy every day...

I just think the fact that

I just think the fact that this race is even close is something short of a miracle.

If I told you two years ago that a dem could even be in the running for the senate seat, I would have been hooted off the stage.

I bet Ford isn't up by six, but I bet he is up by three and the Momentum is in Ford's favor.

Miraculous as it may seem, these are works of man.

I'd credit two things:

1) Ford hired Beecher Frasier to run his campaign. I think the GOP was counting on Jim Hester.

2) Corker's doing it to himself. Why that is, I have no clue. I can speculate, however. My thought is that he believed that he could cruise. I suspect strongly that either Bryant or Hilleary would have done the same thing.

But, as predicted, the desperate attacks are starting. First, it was "Fancy Ford." Now
this sort of crap
.

Ford

I'm glad to hear Ford doesn't have Hester running his campaign. Although I've never met him, he was part of the Tn Dem Party staff that failed badly two years ago. Carol Andrews seems to be doing a good job, better than in the Clement campaign, but I think Ford is a much better candidate. I wish Corker would go on Tim Russert, that would be cool for Tn to get that kind of attention. Stacey
