Sick of bailouts being used for billion-dollar bonus programs?

Let's rally April 11th for the solution that's worked previously for other countries, and the one that makes the most sense. After all, if you're going to give someone $70,000,000,000, you ought to get something FOR it.

This is not advocating permanent nationalization. Economists advocate a temporary nationalization to get through the crisis, and then re-selling the banks back to the private sector, although in a way that we no longer would have banks "too big to fail" that hold our country hostage.

Sick of bailouts being used for billion-dollar bonus programs?

HECK YES...!!!...I'm sick of it!

...so who's holding the tax payer hostage...???...the "Banks too big to fail" or Congress and the White House? Or is it perhaps they are in bed together? Who here is hoping to have a job six months from now? Raise your hand if you just received your million dollar bonus...raise your hand if you're eating $100 a pound steaks in the White House while listening to Stevie Wonder, in person? Yea...I don't see any hands. Are you the tax payer feeling like a chump?

Limbaugh vs. Thomas

"Americans today are more likely to say, "Ask not what you can do for yourselves or your country but what your country can do for you."" ~Clarence Thomas

Interesting quote there from Justice Thomas, considering his close friendship with Rush Limbaugh.

AS I remember, "Boss" Limbaugh got very irate when it was suggested that maybe, just maybe, the American people might want to give up little, sacrifice something, to support the War on Terror. And conservatives in general go ape-sh!t if anyone dares to suggest that you might have to pay a little bit more taxes to support anything.

So, don't give me a lot of conservative self-righteousness about doing something for the country.

Seems to me my and your bank

Seems to me my and your bank accounts are about dry thanks to maybe, just maybe, already sacrificing too much for big government...started by Clinton, increased by Bush and exploding with obamer.

...and oh....look who got hefty campaign contributions from AIG.....obamer and dodd; not to mention Geithner, being the former head of the NY Fed, either knew about the bonuses or is a total ditz. Bush was stupid…what do you call this MDB?

A barely coherent rant.

WOW...pick up a paper; even your flaming liberal press is turning on the flaming liberal screw-ups on the Hill. Looks as if y'all are the incoherent, hypocritical group.

Perhaps voting is really not like driving?
