McKay’s, the beloved shopping destination for used books, music and other physical media, announced plans to close its Knoxville location after 40 years.

The last day of business at the location at 230 Papermill Place Way will be Sunday, May 3. It is closing because the property has been sold, according to information posted on McKay’s website.
