Is it true that the County

Is it true that the County Mayor has threatened some county department heads with their jobs if they speak to the press about the pressure from the Mayor's office? Was there not a meeting that made it crystal clear what the penalty would be for speaking out of turn?

This is looking like Watergate in the final hours.

Ragsdale - Nixon differences?

Nixon's wife never sued him for divorce.

Just Go Away

Dwight why do you not just go away and do us a favor and take Ragsdale and Arms with you.

What has happened to you Dwight you used to be such a honorable man?

Sad and Strange

Have you noticed that your blog is nothing but apologies and explanations and cover ups for Ragsdale. Sad...

Strange-why (in the audit report on pages 12-13) did John Werner take out this (above board wink, wink)government established fund as a personal individual account and list his employer as Holrob, instead of Knox County?

Has anybody asked HolRob if Werner was on the Payroll in '02?

Seems like a simple step would be to ask Hol-Rob Human Resources/accounting department if Werner was on the Hol-Rob payroll in November, 2002. There were others in the Ragsdale administrative office that were on the payroll of other parties during this time as well, somebody just needs to step up and ask the hard questions.

If Werner was not on the Hol-Rob payroll, the account information card is fraudulent and in my opinion an outright attempt to prevent BB&T from following state law and sound banking practices regarding the proper administration and custodial care of Knox County funds.

If Werner was on the Hol-Rob payroll, that was not a disclosed conflict of interest, as he sat on a couple of panels, i.e. what to do with Farmer's Market, and he voted to turn the whole thing over to Hol-Rob for leasing/development, which were most interesting.

What's that smell?

Does it matter if Werner was working for Hol-Rob at the time? He clearly did this without Hol-Rob's permission or knowledge.

Does this smell like RICO?
