Thanks for posting. I was looking for news coverage of protests late morning, but it was still too early in the day...

The NYT now has a recap of some of today's protests/rallies across states.

As May Day commemorations go, Monday’s turnout was extraordinary. But in a crowded calendar of anti-Trump dissent — following January’s Women’s March, late April’s March for Science and Saturday’s People’s Climate March — the scenes and chants took on the quality of a refrain.

No doubt.

May Day events in Knoxville

There was an AKIN march for immigrant rights starting at the City/County Building this afternoon, and a potluck at St. James Episcopal Church this evening sponsored by the local Democratic Socialists (DSA) chapter. There were probably many more events in town ...

And two days ago, Mother Jones previewed the broader scope this year's protests would (and did) take:

On May 1, International Workers' Day, a coalition of nearly 40 advocacy groups, is holding actions across the nation related to workers' rights, police brutality and incarceration, immigrants' rights, environmental justice, indigenous sovereignty, and LGBT issues—and more broadly railing against a Trump agenda organizers say puts them all at risk.

Isn't it, though? Love the bold, graphic quality.

It's amazing.

Wish I could credit it to someone. It was passed along by United Campus Workers as a response to those who think and sell 'austerity.'

Hmm.

Looks like it's from Ricardo Levins Morales
