Mark Harmon makes his case why he can represent the constituents of the US Congressional Second District seat tonight on DTV. Former candidate for the 2nd District seat, Renee Hoyos, interviews Mark about his upcoming campaign for the 2nd District and makes a strong case for why Mark will be able to represent the District in ways the current incumbent isn't doing and seems unable to do very well.
DTV streams live on the Community TV channel((here!) at 9:30 PM or can be found on the following cable channels at 9:30 PM tonight:

Alone?
I want to ask Mark why he seems to run a one-man campaign. Isn't it better to work as a team?
My team
(in reply to Treehouse)
Please feel free to contact me to join our energetic group of volunteers. My team includes Treasurer/Manager Paul Witt, a volunteer photographer, a volunteer videographer, a volunteer who has crafted digital images, another volunteer who has done a great job on opposition research. Other volunteers in the hundreds have stepped forward for some upcoming phone banks, social media items, post card mailings, etc.
Dem?
Are you running as a Democrat? Why not team with the party?

Democratic Party
(in reply to Treehouse)
I expect the Democratic Party statewide and in the relevant counties will be a great resource and partner.
Not sure what you mean. What
(in reply to Treehouse)
Not sure what you mean. What is the Knox County Democratic party doing for candidates?
The Democratic candidate running governor, Dr. Jason Martin, came to town yesterday. It wasn't on the party Facebook page until one hour before the event. What's that about?
Not laundry
This is not an attempt to air party dirty laundry. It's trying to find out what's going on becaue we want to support Democratic candidates and assume the Knox County Democratic party represents them and if not, why not? Whose choice is it not to work together or be late in support?
I don't know all the details
(in reply to Treehouse)
I don't know all the details and rules and whatnot, but local/state party organizations mostly stay out of primaries and back the eventual nominee. They can and will step in to discourage or prevent unqualified candidates from running in primaries (i.e. not "bona fide" Democrats according to party rules).
However, they should have
(in reply to R. Neal)
However, they should have events listed from people running for the various offices. They should try to track the candidates and list their events ahead of time.
FWIW
(in reply to bizgrrl)
I will be speaking to Commission on Tuesday and plan on stopping by Magnolia Cafe on Wednesday.I will have my interview for KC-PACE on Thursday evening.
Sorry about the highjack, Mark.
Thank you.
