Per KNS, by way of 23ABC in Taft, CA: Deja vu, a little after nine this morning.
Yahoo observes that "news of the shooting broke as Joe Biden was speaking to the media prior to his meeting with sportsmen and other gun rights groups as part of his gun control advisory planning."

I didn't know, but it looks like Taft is a community of about 7,000 located 30 miles southwest of Bakersfield, in the San Joaquin Valley.
If victims are still alive, probably not an assault weapon
Probably a shotgun or a smaller caliber handgun, probably well below the threshholds of assault weapons the current administration is looking to ban.
Not all student shootings involve assault weapons and not all issues supporting the second amendment involve hunting.
*
Looks that way, Elwood.
One report I read somewhere said that the weapon was "a shotgun."
This happened around noon our time, I guess? We should know more in the next few hours, then.
Some shotguns should be looked at too.

Pencils too
Vile weapons.

Meanwhile
another Tennessean is making the rounds of promoting violence with guns over gun control. The CEO of Tactical Response comes unglued. (expletives deleted, emphasis mine)
Is it even remotely possible to have some semblance of intelligence (facts are completely missing in his diatribe) in a gun control debate?
Holy crap. Did he really say
Holy crap. Did he really say that stuff? If so, the police should be investigating him.
Threatening to kill people is not covered by free speech. Neither is advocating civil war.
I take what this gentleman,
I take what this gentleman, and I use the term loosely, said as a threat to the president and other federal authorities. Very irresponsible and disrespectful.

What? This is down right criminal.

Well, thank goodness.
I was cruising the Internet late last night, looking for just this story as to "consequences." Knew it had to be coming out soon!
Just Caught That
(in reply to R. Neal)
It's been a long day and I was just catching up on news when I stumbled across Yeager's carry permit revocation. Some sanity does exist.
He did post a second video yesterday:
Bet he's going to start yapping about TCA 39-17-1352, though.

My thoughts exactly, Rachel.
Meanwhile, an update at KNS says the California shooting involved a 12 gauge shotgun. Says one student shot another--and the student shot is in critical condition in a Bakersfield hospital--but that the teacher "distracted" the shooter to allow other students to flee the classroom. Says the shooter then fired at another student, missed, and struck the teacher, instead. It *appears* that the teacher was the injured party who declined medical treatment?
I guess the only thing that
I guess the only thing that can stop a "bad guy" with a gun isn't just a "good guy" with a gun, after all.
Back in the days of real threats, before Dems occupied the WH
Reminds me of the time when an off-duty ER physician was "visited" and harassed (maybe threatened) by Fed authorities hours after he yelled from afar to Dick Cheney that the VP should go f*ck himself.
Keith Ratliff, 'gun
Keith Ratliff, 'gun enthusiast' producer of You Tube videos with almost 3.5 million subscribers, found murdered in Georgia.

Yeah, caught that. Maybe this lawyer is a little sharper than his client?
Really good show, though.
