The City of Knoxville and Knoxville-Knox County Planning are embarking on a collaborative process to update our community’s Comprehensive Plan.

A comprehensive plan is a policy document that sets out the future vision and priorities for development in the city. It guides decisions on future land use, transportation, and investment priorities for the next 25 years.

We are planning various activities over the course of the year to meet and hear from community members across the city, both in-person and online.

We hope you'll join us at an upcoming in-person listening session to share your perspective and connect with the project team. If you're unable to attend, check back here in the coming weeks to participate online.

Can't wait to see what they have online in the future.

There are events on Sunday, April 26, 2026, Monday, April 27, 2026, Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and Thursday, April 30, 2026. The event in SoKno will be at 1 PM at Urban Wilderness Gateway Park 1515 Tilson St, Knoxville, TN 37920. I find it a little confusing on parking at that location. It appears there are about 15 parking spots along Tilson Street, near the intersection with Decatur Street. Available parking would be under the assumption that the park is not in much use on a Sunday at 1 pm.
