We hear there is a dispute within the Knox Co. Republican Party as to whether there was a quorum present at their recent caucus meeting to elect Ruthie Kuhlman as chair, and that the issue is being taken all they way to the state party.

Snark is funny coming from losers
metulj has a mildly amusing post. It is interesting to see such high-brow commentary from such low-performing critics.
Stay in the city - the only place you can win - for now.
Hmmm...
(in reply to GOP_Delegate)
...Well, until the Rules are changed/rigged so only your side can win. "Free and Fair Elections" is meaningless to most of the GOP once they have control of the process.
Why don't you go troll on the rite side of thre blogosphere?
This is like that old joke
This is like that old joke about infighting in academia -- "In any dispute the intensity of feeling is inversely proportional to the value of the issues at stake."
This is a meangless, crap office, generally (but not always. Tindell and Stokes were OK) held by semi-competent wannabes.
Someone can school me on
Someone can school me on "Robert's Rules", but my understanding has always been that the sitting chair should declare the presence of a quorum immediately after gavelling such a meeting to order. Absent objection, the meeting proceeds. I wasn't present at this meeting, so I have no idea if the issue of a quorum was even mentioned.
Like Bean, I wonder who in the world would even bring this up. One of the losing candidates or their supporters? If so, they may have missed their chance for a timely objection by allowing the voting to proceed.
