Contrary to local talk show, p-card audit not yet received by the Mayor's office. More after the jump...

From the press release:
This is to clarify a statement made this morning that the Knox County Mayor’s Office has received a draft of the purchasing card audit. We have NOT received the draft yet, as was asserted this morning on a local talk show. We are eager to receive the draft audit and to provide management’s response to state and local auditors in a timely fashion.

At Least We Know They're Listening to "The Voice"

Ought to do wonder for Lloyd's ratings as the 6th Floor is hunkered down listening to the radio, while we pay them solid six figure salaries to do what? Listen to the radio?

Also

I thought I heard Lumpy say the audit was in the mayor's office -- on WBIR-TV Sunday morning.

So Suite 615 listens to Lloyd but not to John Becker? -- s.

How do you know the mayor's

How do you know the mayor's office is referring to that show? Maybe it was Hal?

Hal Would Never Put Ragsdale on the Hot Seat

In any event, if we're paying them big bucks to listen to the radio, who cares what they are listening to, let's cut their salaries and send them home early to do something else.

And home is where they will

And home is where they will be.

Does anyone think that this crowd could garner the wages (and perks) they are now getting on the govt. tit in the private sector? I guess some of them could if they call on their good friends to take care of them.

Lumpy said Lloyd announced this

Bizzy: "How do you know the mayor's office is referring to that show? Maybe it was Hal?"

Bizzy, Lumpy phoned here a couple or three days ago and mentioned that Lloyd Daugherty had said on his show that the mayor had the p-card audit in hand.

Lumpy and Lloyd are pretty close, so I'd imagine Lumpy either spoke with Lloyd or heard the show first-hand.
