If you missed the show, it's worth seeing a replay.

Saw it.

I've almost never watched this show, but tuned in just 'cause TDS and TCR are on vaca.

Olbermann.  Was.  Awesome.  My mouth was agape for the entire tirade.  Wow.

Wow. This ranks up there

Wow. This ranks up there with William Jennings Bryan's "Cross Of Gold" speech. Maybe the mainstream media are beginning to grow a spine.

I'm not sure I'd go that far

"Maybe the mainstream media are beginning to grow a spine."

But MSNBC is kind of interesting.  Obviously Olbermann is critical of the war.  But, to a lesser degree, so are Matthews and Tucker Carlson.  Even Scarborough really doesn't carry water on this issue like some of the people at FNC and CNN

I'd rather be cycling.

I dunno, fellas. It doesn't

I dunno, fellas. It doesn't quite click for me. The jujitsu doesn't work because Rummy's moronic trash talk isn't powerful; it's pathetic. He deserves ridicule, not indignation.

The Dems should put this dude on retainer.

Seriously, Rummy, what's the logic here? You're complaining
about Islamofascism? That's like poop telling vomit it stinks.

I have no idea who Keith

I have no idea who Keith Olbermann is or what he is. Obviously he doesn't have the audience ratings like Rush, Bill, Sean, Fox or any other conservative entertainers.

The bottom line is how many people listen to you and does your message get out to the people, weather you agree with them or not.

It's the numbers that count. Right now Rush has more listeners than any other media.....20 million a day.

Yes, forget about what the message is. It's not quality it's quantity, right anonymous? Hitler had an audience too. Just because it is not a FOX NEWS ALERT I guess it is not news, right? Dumbass.

Les Nessman sums up the debate

Factchecker's picture

'Bout summed it up

Wow, ol' Les Nessman was so prophetic about modern America, what--some quarter of a century ago?   (Except for the "confused" part; we're certain of our idiot selves.)

If he had any creditability

If he had any creditability and his information was of quality, accurate and some how connected to the facts of reality, he would have a large audience. Since he has no audience and people don’t consider him a very valuable source of news, no one listens. I’m sorry this was so hard for you, next time I’ll try to make it simpler. I'm sorry you have such a noticeable handicap.

 And if YOU had any

And if YOU had any credibility you would sign your name proudly...instead of posting anonymously.

Now this is more to my taste

Now this is more to my taste - good ol' smug librul dismissiveness.

The story quoted G.O.P. pollster Ed Goeas as saying, “I think it's an appropriate definition of the war that we're in. I think it's effective in that it definitively defines the enemy in a way that we can't because they're not in uniforms.”

Forgive me if I don't get it just right, but what I think Goeas is saying is: “We have no real idea what fascism is; hell, we're too lazy even to look it up on Wikipedia. But we've used up the word ‘evil’ and we need new red meat. Let's roll!”
