The last Obama-McCain just ended. John McCain was still talking about his $5000 per household tax credit, seemingly oblivious to the fact that there are so many Americans who don’t have the money to spend in order to get the credit and others cannot get health insurance at any cost because of preexisting conditions.
Furthermore, McCain’s eye-rolling and almost constant smirk -- reminiscent of George W. Bush -- did nothing to hide his contempt for Obama. In fact, it highlighted his blunder in the last debate when he referred to Obama as “that one.”
For hardcore Republicans, McCain’s attitude probably made little difference, but to the uncommitted, it may have been the deciding factor as to how they will cast their votes. McCain’s rehashing of Obama’s connection to sixties radical, William Ayers, left me hoping to hear Obama say “The Keating Five.”
The Keating scandal of 1987, involved McCain and four other U.S. Senators accused of interfering in a federal investigation of Charles H. Keating, Jr., chairman of the Lincoln Savings and Loan Association. In the end, McCain was cleared of actual wrong-doing, but was roundly criticized for using poor judgment. Obama, however, did not stoop to McCain’s level. He took the high road.
Some pundits referred to McCain’s final debate performance as “aggressive.” I saw it as childish behavior tinged with desperation.

McCain seemed to start off
McCain seemed to start off strong and Obama weak, but halfway through it reversed.
The moment that will cost McCain dearly is when he was dismissive of women's health when it comes to abortion. It came off as dismissive, demeaning and cold.
If anything was a guarantee to cost him this election...that moment was it, IMO.
If McCain gets elected, is
If McCain gets elected, is he going to smirk, interrupt and roll his eyes at leaders of other countries? That will play out well I am sure
McSmirky
We noticed this at every debate and I doubt he could stop from doing so.
I want to know what McCain was drawing with that fat sharpie marker?

More Al than W
I thought McCain acted more like Al in the 2000 debates.
Like W got under Al's skin..Obama seams to get under McCain's skin.
Husband and I both noticed
Husband and I both noticed it looked like McCain was about ready to lose it. His cheeks turned red and he was continuously clenching his jaw. The man looked ready to explode. This was about halfway through, I think.
I hear English bookies are taking bets
So far the odds are 5/2 that his head will explode like a balloon before the election. Rumor has it she will resign as VP by the end of October, then name herself as a candidate for president on the Hockey Mom ticket, a new political party started by her maverick husband the First Dude. She will then begin referring to McCain as "that worn out old terrorist".
I would also love for Obama
I would also love for Obama to throw out "Keating 5" at McCain everytime McCain goes off on this stupid Ayers "association", but maybe it's part of the campaign plan not to mention the Keating 5. After all, the other 4 Senators involved were Democrats
