Those effete Brits are DARING TO TRY AND INTIMIDATE US INTO NOT TORTURING PEOPLE:
The attorney general warned the US at the weekend that its bill to try to limit its obligations under the Geneva convention while interrogating and trying detainees risked international condemnation.
If they didn't talk with such girlie-man accents (and use ridiculous phrases like "at the weekend"), we might take them more seriously.
UPDATE: They're PRACTICALLY FRENCH anyway.
