Mike Huckabee says this morning that he has reconsidered and takes back his concession speech.
Speaking to reporters at a hastily called breakfast prayer buffet, Huckabee said "Look, it's only a scratch. McCain barely nicked me. He campaigns like a little girl. He should come back here and fight like a man."
When reminded that McCain has the nomination locked up numerically, Huckabee responded "The one vote that counts hasn't been cast. I'm holding out for my miracle."

Huckabee Campaign Finance
I'm shocked and disappointed that Huckabee would take money from struggling, hard-working Americans in order to fund his campaign. He said in his drop-out speech that it was..."the sacrifices of a truck driver in Michigan, of a housewife who sold her wedding ring on eBay and gave the contribution to the campaign, a janitor in Alabama who has a wife in a wheelchair who gave $20, not out of his abundance, but out of his poverty, so that our campaign could stay on the track." In a bad economy, why would someone running for President take their money to fund a campaign that was clearly going to be fruitless? What would become of the economy if selfish Huckabee were President?

Yeah, I was kinds shocked by that. I said to the Mrs. he ought to send that woman her money back.
a housewife who sold her
He doesn't have the grace to do that.

You people
talk a good game. But, when it comes time to give sacrificially to support your candidate, you hold onto your money. The reason that Republicans keep kicking your butt in the elections is that they (Republicans) are committed to give, even sacrificially (by selling personal effects to get the job done) That is why Democrats will always be watching from the sidelines, while the Republicans are on the field.
I'd rather give sacrificially...
to make sure someone has food to eat or clothes to wear or a roof over their head or medicine they need, than to get someone elected that hasn't got to worry about how the hell they are gonna pay the rent if someone in the family gets sick or hurt or loses their job to outsourcing. I'm happy to give to the candidate of my choice, but that is way down on the priority list, and I EXPECT them to use it wisely and frugally. And if they drop out...they should refund the money; some of us don't have much to spare and if they are not going to use it for the purpose for which it was given then they should return it with thanks for my good faith in their campaign.
