Fun Kingfisher Food Fact:
These birds regularly toss their caught little fish up in the air above their heads. The fish will then fall head first into the birds open beak.

There's a male Kingfisher who visits our pond on E. Hendron Chapel. Maybe we could fix these two up.

Nice Shots

Love Kingfishers. On the Holston close to where I live, you can't go 30 feet without seeing one, and that's a good thing. There are several Bald Eagles around everyday now as well. Thank goodness there are still plenty of fish with these guys around.
