The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is moving from downtown Knoxville to Farragut. Seems odd.

Then, there is a proposal to tear down an old Blue Circle restaurant building at 205 Union. I don't really remember this location. I thought it used to be on Wall. Public records show this building/site has been owned by same person since 1939.

There was a Blue Circle on Wall (the sign is still there), and there was another one at the 205 Union location. I remember eating at both of them when I was a (much younger) brat.

Doesn't seem odd. They're moving to what is presumably a bigger, donated space. And there are a whole lot of Hispanic businesses scattered through West Knoxville.

Also, they're moving to the only place in Knox County actually named after a Hispanic-American.

Apparently the Hispanic/Latino community found a a more simpatico demographic in Farragut than in the inner city. Or else cheaper rent.

Blue Circle

The buiding in question is the former Partins' field of greens.

There was also one on Wall - site of the recent Art Wall. Its sign was up until recently. Also on Henley at Summit Hill. I was a regular there back when it was Eula's.
