Dogwoods and redbuds are busting out. The weather has been kind for a pretty Dogwood Arts festival this year. This week would be a good time to drive the trails.

We have several Dogwoods in our yard (and one redbud.) A couple of our dogwoods are volunteers that sprang up from seed. One of them we just transplanted yesterday. We're hoping it survives the trauma. The other one has the largest blossoms I've ever seen on a Dogwood. The Mrs. measured it, and it's nearly five inches in diameter.
