This does seem to affirm a piece I read a bit back (can't recall where) about the compartmentalilzation of Iraq and specifically how it may be better off being split into separate countries.

I would bet the world consensus would mirror their poll, but stay the course, what ever that means... What does it mean? Pump billions more tax dollars into the war? Sacrifice thousands more of our soldiers lives? Create more hatred of our country? Help the Taliban recruit millions of soldiers using the war in Iraq as their recruiting tool? Pump millions more tax dollars into Haliburton!

My niece just had a baby just 4 months ago, and she is being forced to go to Iraq! Kinda p!sses me off, and makes me wonder about what kind of nation we have become when we will send our mothers off to fight in a war for the chicken s##t fat cat politicians that continue to support this war, and also the corrupt corporations that are profiting from this unneccesary war? Our government claims that they are having trouble recruiting. If they would have stayed the course and gone after Osama from the beginning instead of shifting directions and going into Iraq, after it was reported that they had Osama surrounded; then, falsely tying the two together, they wouldn't have had any trouble finding recruits. The world would also still be united behind our cause and the Taliban would have been stopped in their tracks, but no, Bush and company had to squandered any support that we had, and divided our nation.

I think the war in Iraq was an excuse from the get go to allow a bunch of "pioneers" the priviledge of sending crews over there to rebuild at the expense of the taxpayers or the pie-in-the-sky idea that the welcoming Iraqi hoardes would give billions of their oil dollars to Halliburton for this "service".  In a way, I guess it was a Bushian WPA.  I don't recall reading anything about private contractors going into Europe at the close of WWII before the military decided it was safe to do so.

I guess most of us have heard about the convoy driver ABC is reporting who says that he was abandoned by his military escort.  What kind of planning deliberately puts civilians in a war zone in the first place?

Oops! I'm sorry.  I was assuming that we had an adult driving the bus.

BTW Mr. Bush, are we still on track to implement those Zip Codes your folks foresaw for Iraq?

Come on back to Tennessee and raise more money for Corker.  He can be such a help to you; you'll never miss Bill Frist.

I agree, having US civilians in the war zone only puts our soldiers more at risk. They not only have to protect their own skin, they have to protect haliburton employee's as they pump Iraq dry of oil no!baby sit No that's wrong too, I mean, protect US civilians who shouldn't have been there to begin with.
