He should not have to serve

He should not have to serve any time in prison for that bullshit. Prison is for dangerous and/or repeat offenders. Or should be. But the feds will aggressively seek to lock up anybody because they have a completely martial view of how the laws should be executed.

Personal accountability really sucks where you're wrong

and kernell was flat wrong, not sure what action the university of tennessee took with regards to this action. If you're convicted of the crime, you get to do the time.

Hate if for him, but maybe he'll get some momentum going and get on with his life.

If you're going to hack into national Republican candidates, I'd suggest you not do it in the Eastern District of the State of Tennessee Federal System. It don't roll here the way it does in Memphis, thank you for shopping.

What the guy did was clearly

What the guy did was clearly wrong and he should be punished for it. That said, this punishment seems like overkill to me.
