I hope everyone here realizes how much I enjoy KnoxViews, and I assure you I will be stopping by every single day to see what's going on.
I figured it would be best to create my own blog because I felt really embarassed that I was posting too much here, hogging the space maybe, and sometimes my front page content, the "psycho-babble" stuff for instance, seemed to really irritate people that I have a lot of respect for.
I hope you will also realize my decision was not based on the fact that often people disagreed with me. I like that. No I love that! I enjoy learning from people with opposite viewpoints.
To those of you who look forward to reading my posts, thanks. I know there are quite a few of you because everywhere I go I meet people who express that in a way that encourages me. Please feel free to drop by my humble little Blog at (link...). It's not as pretty as KnoxViews, and I'm still learning how to navigate it, but as we all know it always feels good for a woman "to have a room of own's own".
I'd especially like to thank R. Neal for all his wonderful moderating. KnoxViews IS the best blog in Knoxville, and I've felt really proud to be a part of it for so long.

Another one gets her wings
Another one gets her wings and leaves the nest. Congratulations, look forward to reading it!
Good Luck
I always found you insightful and intellectually honest. As someone else who likes to occasionally be provocative, I always enjoyed our exchanges - even when we disagreed.
I wish you enjoyment and many readers at your new home on the web.
Congratulations, the site
Congratulations, the site looks great. Best wishes on this new adventure. I know it's gonna be fun.
I for one will miss you here but your place has already been installed in my bookmarks toolbar. You're right between Whitescreek and Russ McBee so you're in good company.

If we get any bad reports, Neal and I will be over there with the paddle.
And don't forget to link the old skipper up.

Congratulations, Carole.
Congratulations, Carole. You provide healthy doses of provocative thought and you're a fine writer. Come back and stay active in the comments, OK?
Thanks everyone, as soon as I learn how I'll be linking
I want to add links to everyone's sites, especially KnoxViews, etc., but it might take me a couple of days to figure out how. I'm pretty slow on the techie stuff. Eventually, people will be able to post over there. Right now it's just a place to comment. Thanks for all your good wishes.
Congratulations on the new
Congratulations on the new blog, great post about eating invasive species!
I wasn't trying to run you off. Actually, I was using you to get at Les Jones and SayUncle, who are on pretend hiatus, protesting like hippies in a tree. They are formerly active participants who quit commenting and posting entirely because they were told to ask permission to have blog posts promoted to the front page. In other words, they were asked to give an inch, so they protested a mile.
Most of that happened before you got involved, so it probably makes little sense. I'm trying to goad those boys into participating again, not to get rid of anyone. Sorry for any hard feelings.
I don't make the rules around here, but I do think people who serve as vectors for stuff like that spinning ballerina deserve to be teased. That was my intent. You should have your own blog, Carole, and I hope you post plenty here and there.
Thanks for the vote of support Rikki
It means a lot to me. There were a lot of good reasons to try to do my own blog, though I'll always be part of this one, too.
