Despite being outspent three or four to one, Representative Stacy Campfield won by double digits.

I think they have a lot of

I think they have a lot of low-information voters in that area.

Big Deal

He is still a prick. Can't wait to see who the Repubs throw at him next time.

It aint over until all the

It aint over until all the votes are counted.

Campfield?

I'm FLOORED!!!!!!!! Just another example of "uninformed" voting only along party lines.

That would be like gloating

That would be like gloating about a Katherine Harris win.  Schree is an inexperienced young lady(in a town run by GOP KnoxGOBs).  Looking toward the future, hers could be big while he's a dead-ender.

Lets see... if someone votes

Lets see... if someone votes for a republican they are "uninformed" and voting "along party lines", but if they vote for a liberal democrat they aren't? Give me a break, there are uniformed and party line voters in both parties. Get off your high horse please.

Still a wanker

Next time he pulls a stunt like trying to get into the black caucus, you can remind us how proud you are here today.

Such a good soldier.

Obviously trying to get into

Obviously trying to get into the black caucus is over the heads of some of you libs. It was a statement. A statement I strongly support. When we we realize that we are all equal? A white caucus wouldn't be tolerated, but a black one is? That is wrong. Mr. Campfield standing up for what is right has secured my vote for him.

Duh. There *is* a White

Duh.
There *is* a White Caucus.
It's called the GOP.

CBT's picture

"There *is* a White Caucus.

"There *is* a White Caucus. It's called the GOP."

Tell that to Anthony Steele, Condoleeza Rice and J.C. Watts (among others).

Bbeanster's picture

Who is Anthony Steele? I

Who is Anthony Steele?
I know who Michael Steele is -- he's the guy whose chance to be elected got torpedoed by all the publicity over the "Call me, Harold" ad. Way to screw up those overtures to the minority community, RNC.

Come on, Chad - I know

Come on, Chad - I know you're a loyal Republican and all, but you can't actually be proud of Stacey????

Campfield returns

(link...)

Submitted by CBT:
Corker released the exact same tax information as Bredesen. He released his basic tax returns and summaries of the schedules. I know this somehow gets lost in the political ads.

Is information on Campfield's tax reporting available? Can you clarify whether or not he operates a home renovation business?

"You libs." Sounds like "you people," the divisive language which betrays a belief and personal stake in superiority.

It was a statement. A statement I strongly support.

You support it so strongly that you can't even sign your name to your post. Uh huh. Do tell.

When we we realize that we are all equal?

Oh, I dunno. Maybe when people are paid equally for equal work? Maybe when states stop passing stupid laws to outlaw gay marriage? Maybe when white guys stops bitching about "minority hires" every time a person of color is hired at their place of employment?

We're all equal -- unless you're gay. We're all equal -- until you smack into the glass ceiling. We're all equal -- unless your name is Sidarth and you're trying to film a US Senator giving a stump speech.

I don't know why I bother. Some people are unreachable...
