One of the more colorful conservative members of the U.S. House (Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.)) told HuffPost he stands by recent remarks in which he said some of his fellow members were likely victims of blackmail.
...
And when asked if he believed there were House members who had decided how to vote based on compromising material about them held by foreign powers, Burchett said, “Absolutely. And other powers. It doesn’t have to be foreign powers.”
...
“The old honey pot. The Russians do that. And I’m sure members of Congress have been caught up. Why in the world would good conservatives vote for crazy stuff like what we’ve been seeing out of Congress?” he asked.
...
“They’re not all crooked. The vast majority of people up here do the right thing. They just get caught in bad situations. That’s all..."

He certainly loves the spotlight. These accusations will certainly put him in demand, at least temporarily.

Hyuck, hyuck... Buy me a beer.

Check it out. National article bylined yesterday. This is what America sees we are. Would you take a budget request from this guy seriously?

"Some of these conspiracy

"Some of these conspiracy theorists with the pro-gun assault weapons agenda posted a photo of a man who was detained at the parade for disorderly intoxication, and claimed that he was a "illegal immigrant" who carried out the shooting. Naturally, Tim Burchett posted it while accusing an innocent man, who was also an American, of a heinous crime. He left it up for days until he finally deleted it. He made no statement or apology when he deleted it."

They had a spot on national news about this issue. The innocent man had his advocate attorney with him. They are reviewing information. It would appear that he might take Tim to court.

Well then

May justice be served.
