The Tennessee Supreme Court has today issued a ruling against Alcoa in a case involving the death of an Alcoa employee's daughter from mesothelioma, a highly lethal form of cancer that is almost exclusively caused by exposure to asbestos.
The ruling establishes unprecedented new case law in Tennessee.
